So I had been feeling like I needed to force myself to live life. It's a full time job keeping up with the doctor's appointments, therapy times and social worker visits. I was missing the old days where I had time to do fun things with my kids. I don't want them to think that the only people we know are the therapist and nurses at the doctors office. I was afraid of the mess and extra work, but we really had a lot of fun!
Here are the snacks we made for our special friends.
This is Josh's playmate Allison, he loves her so much he is willing to combine the game of super hero's with house!
Josh, only enjoyed painting for like 5 minutes and then all he wanted to do was eat marshmallows!
This it Bryan, Josie loves him, and he doesn't seem to mind her physical expression of love with all her hugs.
Nathan didn't get much paint on the pine-cone, but he had fun. I was thankful it was all washable.
We play dress up as a mummy, Josh ended up looking more like a terrorist.
Josie was convinced she was a Ghost!
I am thankful to my girl friends for being willing to come over and play. Thankful to have people in my life that I feel comfortable with having them over even when the floors are dirty and I hadn't really talked to them in the last few weeks since our new addition, broken arms..etc.
